Rational Design of Evapotranspiration Bed

Abstract

A rational method for the design of an onsite sewage disposal system based upon evapotranspiration, and adaptable to different geographical areas, is developed. Available design information and its limitations is noted and the need to exercise informed professional judgement is emphasized. Two examples and water balance tables show application of the design method.
