Optimal Design of Branched Water Supply Networks
Publication: Journal of Environmental Engineering
Volume 109, Issue 3
Abstract
A rational procedure for the optimization of branched water supply networks is developed in closed form. Two case studies are presented to illustrate the procedure for the optimal design of complete gravity systems and direct pumping systems.
