Unusual Arrangement

Abstract
A new form of cable-stayed bridge has been developed to join two parts of the campus of New York City’s Rockefeller University. Because the bridge could not touch down on the busy street below, a Y-shaped crossing was devised that is supported by an asymmetrical cable arrangement and a V-shaped tower.
