America's Water Infrastructure Act of 2018 requires U.S. drinking water providers to complete risk and resilience assessments and emergency response plans, including cybersecurity. The Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act supports cybersecurity for the public water system and has authorized $25 million annually for five years to assist publicly owned treatment plants address natural hazards and cybersecurity attacks. These selected papers will assist all stakeholders, including water treatment facilities, to develop robust risk assessments and emergency response plans that will protect our water infrastructure.
